A postcard from Wellington.
Hi my loves, I’m recently back from a week of leave spent in Wellington – as you might have gathered from last week’s post. I generally try to use trips away as an opportunity to send out real batches of postcards, but on this occasion I didn’t manage to do so, so here’s a virtual one instead. We drove down on Sunday and spent the week with K’s family, doing very little more than just catching up on sleep, eating delicious home-cooked food, reading, watching TV and going on walks. We visited the Botanic Gardens (obviously), walked part of the skyline track, completed the Makara loop walk (a beautiful and challenging coastal track with cliff top scrambles) and spent several wonderful hours on the trails in Otari-Wilton’s Bush (probably one of my favourite walks ever). Hope you enjoy the photos! Zx
